GIG REVIEWS : FIRST BLOOD show

The last show i saw was TERROR coming from California, Still the band does not make me move. But last saturday. It was a blast! Finding out First Blood coming over this side of earth make me super excited. The show start at 4pm i guess seeing local bands certainly can start up the mood. The local bands perform that day i guess carefully selected because their experience and their music. Some of them are not known to me such as Medusa, and Daarchlea. The show start of with some kick from band called Medusa. I don't enjoy much their sets and i took off to meet friends who haven't seen so long. Burnout take the show will some old school hardcore stuff mainly influence by CBK, honestly i think the guy from who played session for Kids On The Move really seems to enjoy much more than others. I guess lack of experience the Burnout kids seems shaky but they have songs that can make kids jump around. After a while i just hang out for a while I think Daarchelea a new band and i haven't really got a chance to hear their song or ep before so i cant review much their music.But when they came into stage ! They were great with a blend of melodic metal and grind. I amaze the young guys have shown some quality in Metal area and this band i will look out for in the future. Deadscore comin on stage with some brutal hardcore, this band are giving their music a pretty much mosh core style which was did in the 90's . I think when in a band when u wanna do something on the 90's hardcore a band should put some of refreshing riff. Overall ok for me. Cassandra then took the stage. sadly again not playing their anthem song but playing their new song which will be release somewhere this year under Teark Ark Records. A promising song and i follow through and the riff and the energy is there. but sadly no lyrics n i dont understand since its a new song.Then Alcatraz which consist a line up from First Blood coming into the stage and show what they are about and i am amaze, i dont know why the international bands sound so good even playin in One Cafe this one does not dissapoint me. And the energy and the music makes everybody move around following the music beat . This is what i call NYC style and really make the pumpin mood. After Alcatraz i couldnt wait any longer so i stand aside and wait for First Blood comin. And yes when First Blood comin on stage its really like a storm of moshing hardcore and the vocals scream like in the records. I couldn't tell how much energy and crazy First Blood set started with the anthem "next time i see you, you're dead" and the whole song, moshing and circle pits and everybody sing along every single of their song except two new songs from their next ep. But First Blood have shown how much their quality as a band , with message and performer on stage. This is not some band and they put their heart and energy on the set even they are tired after travelling allot. First Blood will become one of the band I remembered. As those guys who cannot make it. I feel so bad that they cant share the moment there. But hopefully the videos i upload here could be some cure for it. First Blood you guys have make my year start fill with energy!
